Solar2 has developed proposals for a solar farm on land located between the villages of Potterspury and Yardley Gobion. The site area is c. 70.5ha.
The site comprises flat agricultural land bisected east west by Yardley Road. Hedges and intermittent trees provide an element of natural screening.
The project will generate clean, renewable energy through photovoltaic (PV) solar panels.
The project will be temporary whilst also providing an enhanced bio- diversity benefit to local wildlife during the life of the project.
